Heartipops! - Valentine's Day Craft

Happy Valentine's Day! My husband and I have already celebrated this occasion with a morning kopi (coffee), chai tau kuey (carrot cake) and roti (toast). Simple - just the way we like it.

After the pepper upper I dived straight into another craft with Princess and The Rock. This is an anything-goes sort of craft; it's perfect for using up recycled materials and scraps that you have from previous projects.

Valentine's Day Craft

Materials needed:
  • Card stocks (I used heart-shaped ones but any shape will do, or you can cut larger pieces into smaller ones.)
  • Ribbons
  • Pipe cleaners
  • Glitter Glue
  • Pom poms
  • Pens and markers
  • Strong glue (I used UHU brand)
  • Ice-cream sticks

Instructions:
  1. Decorate the card stocks in any way you like. You may write messages if you'd like to.

  2. Add 3-D details like bows, pom poms and pipe cleaners decorations as the last part of the decoration.

  3. Valentine's Day Craft
  4. Attach ice-cream sticks to the back of the card stocks with strong glue.

  5. Let dry and you can be imaginative in presenting it. Stick them into a pot with sponge to make a pot of Heartipop plant or use it as a bookmark or in place of a greeting card or a gift tag!
